Was listening to LBC earlier when they were discussing this and it is shocking really.
These nasty Tories will just say what ever they need to at the time to get themselves off the rope or to gain some breathing space then not even blink an eye when they renege on what they promise.
I think the proverbial is going to hit the fan soon , with the Covid issues still ongoing, Furlough due to end and Johnsonβs barmy Brexit.

The sad thing is that no one is surprised by this type of thing any more. Corruption, greed and self serving MPs is now the new normal.

So....let me get this straight...the Tories ARE lying corrupt barstewards....but we've to blindly follow their COVID advice?
Some on here want to stop the name calling frankly.

I think your still a bit squint. I'm not following any Tory covid advice.. I'm in Scotland so I ignore all Tory advice. I'm surprised you're following it.
Are you confused?

Well we wouldn't be taking advice from Tory's in Scotland as we have an SNP led government with devolved powers for Health.

Original post said Tory, suggesting "Tartan Tory" as that fits in with the original post and is a nickname for the SNP.
You see what I did there? I'll get my coat.

All evidence lost, all files lost, because they were only kept on one laptop....
Corruption of the highest order.

If it's emails, is there not a record from the people who sent/received as well as the chap who left the business?

Clearly looks like it's not the employees problem.
If he's allowed to keep the work laptop of course he would have to delete any work.
No way should his emails be lost though. The work server will have had them. The people who received the emails will have copies.
All the companies I work for were able to reinstate emails and work up to 3 years after deletion. A daily back up was kept for 3 years. After that anything else would be committed to microfiche.
Someone is at it here.

Yeah the company handling the back ups should know exactly who has requested what. Someone is lying and should be pretty easy to tell who it is.
