That report is about 4 years old although the trend may still be continuing. Being a Daily Mail report there is obviously no suggestion that the disaffection with the BBC is because it does not fairly represent the political views of around half the population.

Thought this was quite an interesting piece of research on how the BBC isn`t impartial. Maybe this lack of impartiality is an issue or maybe people are just sick of hearing bad news.
