Last night`s programme on BBC Scotland was recorded at the Carnegie Hall. I didn`t spot any familiar faces in the audience.
One old boy had the temerity to mention the McCrone Report which revealed the vast extent of oil and gas reserves discovered under the North Sea in the 1970s but which was suppressed in case it encouraged the notion of Scottish independence. The Tory representative (a Minister from the House of Lords) said that Scotland had received the benefit of its fair share over the years. So that`s all right then.
There was an open call for people to attend. There are 60,000 people in Dunfermline alone and expect this will have attracted people from around West Fife so no great surprise not to recognise any faces.
