Apparently being reported by the Russian prison service and still to be fully verified but it`s fairly well known that he`d been denied proper medical treatment for months.

It is a grim peek into the future. Nation after nation under totalitarian rule. Opponents of those in power die in the streets or die in jail. That is the future. Democracy, as we have come to know it, is disappearing fast.

Having read the post, just a load of conjecture. I say that as someone who is objective of the Assange situation. I did a wee bit of research on the author as I`d never heard the name and this was her LinkedIn profile:

Tenruh, the article you shared has her name on it - Leah Gunn Barrett. She has posted a comment underneath saying "The Scottish media is just as captured by the Putin is evil narrative." which would indicate some scepticism regarding Putin being bad. Just lunacy...
