 Who fancies a Labour/SNP coalition in 2026 ?

Well it`s looking like we`re going to have a devomax coalition in 2026. Obviously, it`ll be another 10 years from then before we`re likely to have a referendum.

Aren`t the SNP a bunch of troughers.

Anything other than working towards Independence .

Not enough seats for that. Not looking good for Alba, possibly getting only one seat,

What a load of Tosh.

The SNP can still holyrood. Labour`s vote is weakening by the day and the SNP won 2 by-elections in Dundee on Thursday - 1 a gain from Labour.

Alba will have no seats. Labour won`t go into coalition with the SNP.

The SNP did win 2 seats in Dundee, but on reduced votes and reduced shares of first preferences (45% to 35% and 43% to 37%), so I wouldn`t call that a ringing endorsement.

I believe that there was anger with Labour over the Winter Fuel Allowance, which seems a little bizarre, since much of the responsibility for that lies at Holyrood.

Labour will have to go into coalition with another party. Why not the nuSNP?

2 by-election wins, ha ha only 20% turnout the nuSNP vote made up by their members the public didn`t turn up.

They`re going to get their tatties in 2026

Labour have a huge majority at Westminster after securing the votes of 20% of the available electorate so there are many anomalies in the application of democracy throughout the UK.

Wasn`t the WFA a bit of a stitch-up? It was devolved to Holyrood then Labour decided to restrict it in England so that cut the amount of Barnett consequentials available to the SNP to finance it. If the SNP decided to continue it as a universal benefit they would have to cut expenditure elsewhere.

Two years into a Labour government I reckon the SNP will do better than I expected and probably deserve to do at the Holyrood elections.

All the SNP chancers dumped out of Westminster will be fighting like cat and dog to get back on the gravy train so they`ll be desperate to get on the list vote, none any better than Murdo Fraser .

Independence will never happen if you think the SNP will deliver it.

It`ll never happen anyway. Even the true believers in independence don`t believe in it enough.
