Yeah I`d say that comment is fair enough. Being born somewhere alone does not make you that nationality. I mean wouldn`t class former Scotland and Rangers captain Richard Gough as being Swedish.
Had Nelson`s father been stationed in Germany and so he had been born in Germany but then spent the next twenty years living in Scotland I wouldn`t class him as German.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed
