Should make everybody’s blood boil. Billions wasted and we hardly ever hear a peep about it in the media……..the ferries however ?

Anybody seriously think that the media are neutral…..?

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Members only link but agree. PFI seemed a massive con. Like a mortgage on steroids. Queen Anne was one of the first big ones in Dunfermline and will be coming to the end of the deal. I think Dunfermline High was PFI too. Think how much money has been sunk into paying rent on those that could have been invested elsewhere. It`s a shambles.

`Anybody seriously think that the media are neutral…..?`

Let`s face it the MSM in Scotland will never give the SNP a fair crack of the whip. Despite public opinion about independence being pretty much split down the middle all the major players in the Scottish media favour the Union and that`s reflected in their political coverage. It`s an anomaly that`s never discussed of course. I think the reason for it is that the media is largely controlled from outside Scotland.

The MSM are definitely not neutral.

They have failed to significantly cover the biggest PFI scam in Scottish history. 2 Billion pounds to plant trees!

Here is loony Lorna Slater signing off on it for the SNP led administration then under Elsie McSelfie`s leadership.

Now don`t get me wrong, I love trees. I grow saplings then plant them on long dog walks all over Fife and Kinross. And we could do with more trees in Scotland, not to combat muh climate change, we all know that`s a load of nonsense but we are below the European average about 18% coverage.

But £2 Billion?!? Why not give every schoolkid an acorn?

Time to be inspired by world events and rid ourselves of these legacy parties when the Pretendy Parliament elections come around.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now.

How many trees were planted for £2 billion? In Duloch Park 6000 trees were planted at a cost of around £2 per tree. Did they plant 1bn trees?

Why not involve young people in the tree planting. It would teach them a bit about nature and science. There are loads of wooded areas around Dunfermline that were once planted by school groups but I don`t know if that still happens.
