The same group of individuals who until recently thought a man can become a female.
We certainly live in interesting times

Just waiting for the ones who say the politicians control every aspect of our lives complaining about people being given the freedom to choose when to pass on now.

Plenty are already telling us that this somehow means that we are all at risk of being forced to die because our greedy children want to steal our homes

I would hope protections are in place to ensure a person if cognisant of the decision they are making and it`s checked they are not being coerced in any way.

Being honest, I quite like the idea that I could choose an end date if I was in a bad way, but appreciate there are concerns about people making poor decisions.

Does it deal with things like Alzheimer’s etc

Where a person is no longer be deemed capable of consenting because their mind has gone and may need to cared for in a secure unit - but clearly stated when they were of sound mind, they don’t want that to happen and get to that stage?

I don`t think so. It has to be a terminal condition and needs signed off by at least two doctors to declare the person was of sound mind.

That’s a shame…

recently went through that and horrible for everyone involved - and vowed that if i go that way I absolutely do not want to put my wife/family through that - if I’ve gone in the head, then I just want put down because I’m not ‘me’ anymore
