 Latest poll

Has Indy at 54%. When asked how they would vote in an independence referendum if Farage was PM….it rises to 58%…………Here’s hoping reform win the next GE. It will be an utter disaster for the whole of the U.K. if that transpires and Scotland would need to bolt asap….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

At the next Scottish election, if the SNP are part of the new administration it will most probably be at the bequest of Reform UK and that will only be with certain agreements, no Separatist referendum will be part of that.

"Ha ha Farage will never put the SNP in charge!"

Well he has already confirmed he would if Kingmakers, and given the SNP and Reform are now tied Scotland-wide (it`s just one poll etc etc) that seems increasingly likely.

Less than a year ago we were being told Labour would wipe out the SNP at the next Holyrood election in 2026. Forecasting election results one or two years ahead is crazy in the present political climate. It will be interesting to see how Reform performs in all these councils they now control in England. As Labour have found out, being in power is a lot different from being in opposition.

A week is a long time in politics.

Reform has the momentum at the moment is about all we can say with any certainty and how they run the councils they now control is a bit of a litmus test for them.

The Hamilton by-election could be an interesting one, I think the SNP will win it but Reform finishing 2nd or 3rd keeps their recent momentum going.

Reform`s success UK-wide seems to be a stalemate for the separatist cause rather than a checkmate for either side.

Scotland works to a different electoral system. What the SNP have had in Scotland for the last few parliaments isn`t really supposed to happen. The likelihood is the SNP will have the most seats but not enough for a majority so it`ll be a Lib-Lab election. I`d expect Reform will get plenty seats as people are angry and will vote for literally anyone to make a point, BUT they won`t have anyone willing to go into coalition with them as they`re knobends.

More Reform success will simply expose them as being completely incapable of running a government in my opinion.

It`ll take ages to build the right structures, and quality of people.

It`s pretty interesting what`s going on here in Hamilton.
Labour chose Davy Russell as their candidate as he`s "staunch" if you know what I mean.
They expected him to gain lots of votes in Larkhall due to this but seems the Catholic haters there are also huge racists so are backing Reform.
Now Davy seems to have thrown in the towel. He`s nowhere to be seen.

This is a big part of Reform`s success, the sort of names their voters and politicians are called are a great boon.

While Starmer, Swinney, Elsie, the Leftist media and forum posters get a huge release of endorphins calling people these things, what they don`t realise is that once you call people these things you have lost them forever, they are never coming back.

Even if they did realise the damage this does to their cause, I doubt they`d be able to stop, because they are too addicted to the feeling this projection gives them.

Just going to leave this here as a display of the complete irony of BPs post...

From the Guardian -

`Nigel Farage, the Reform UK leader, has mischaracterised protests outside his press event in Aberdeen on Monday, claiming in an LBC interview the small group of demonstrators were Antifa “thugs” intent on violence.

The 20 or so protesters outside the Silver Darling fish restaurant overlooking the entrance to Aberdeen harbour were noisy, using loudhailers, but their most vigorous act came from a short, elderly Quaker in a pink coat who offered the media a short song and dance, as she carried an umbrella.

The demonstrators were largely young refugee and disability rights activists. lined up along the seawall, they made no attempt to rush the venue or prevent any of the media or Reform supporters entering the building.

Linking the protests to Antifa, the label for hard left and anarchist US activists, who sometimes use violence in clashes with the far right, was a wild mischaracterisation. There was no police intervention at any stage in Aberdeen on Monday: several police officers came and spoke to the demonstrators, and then stepped back.

Farage has encountered aggressive protests once in Scotland, when a large crowd of pro-independence and left-wing protestors shouting “scum” prevented him from holding a press conference in central Edinburgh in 2013. The Aberdeen demonstration was small, peaceful and disciplined.`

Just read that the poll I was referring to has support for Indy as high as 63% when given the option of direct rule from WM……overwhelming…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Protesters shouting "scum" at Nigel Farage, they must have been holding back. That guy truly is the absolute scum of the earth. Deserves what`s coming to him

Reform are a one trick pony. Get people riled up about immigration then quietly whisper the bit about removing human rights and privatising NHS services.

No wonder folk are disillusioned with politics, judging by PMQs today. Starmer hardly answered a question and he just said how bad a situation they inherited from the Tories.

According to the Guardian this happened at the end -

`Jesse Norman, the shadow leader of the Commons, raises a point of order. He says viewers will have seen Keir Starmer refuse to answer Kemi Badenoch’s questions. Instead Starmer started talking about Russia, he says. He asks whether Starmer should have been allowed to change the subject like that.

In reply, Lindsay Hoyle, the Speaker, says that at PMQs “the scope has always been that we’ve always questioned the answers whoever has been at that dispatch box”.

This came out as gibberish, but the point he seemed to be making was that at PMQs it is customary for the Speaker to allow the PM to answer questions however he likes.`

That says it all really.

A butcher`s shop in Larkhall has barred Farage after he and his retinue visited their shop yesterday.

The shop wrote (on Facebook):

`Posting this to stop any further accusations or loss of customers.

Today we received 2 emails from disgruntled customers about Nigel Farage visiting our Larkhall shop on Monday 2nd June.

It’s imperative that our customers know that this was NOT a planned visit and we had no control over this. Mr F swanned in with his party and the BBC to buy a T Bone steak.`

The message was signed off with the words “what a palava over one wee man” followed by an emoji and “#Farageisbarred”.

PMQ`s have always been a farce and a total waste of time, it allows the "house jocks " to ask a question to Starmer about something that has nought to do with Westminster, and allows Starmer to attack Holyrood with no response allowed.

Dunfermline Labour MP chosen today for the weekly Scottish Government bashing question!🤔🤬

We have things called "Human Rights" but they are not inalienable human rights which anyone using the phrase to virtue signal means.

There are political rights that are labeled human enacted by a legislature and enforced by a judicial system but they are actually political rights.

The uniparty for years have ignored or circumvented these rights ever since they were brought into law.

Quote:

Right to Life: This includes protection from state-inflicted death and ensuring access to medical care.

The state inflicted suicide bill is currently going through parliament and Holyrood wants it too.

Quote:

Freedom from Slavery and Forced Labor: Guarantees the right to be free from slavery and forced labor.

Modern slavery is alive and well in the UK.

Quote:

Right to Liberty and Security: Protects against arbitrary arrest or detention and includes the right to a fair trial.

There is clearly a two tier justice system in place, even now codified by the sentencing council. Rapists getting community service/short sentencing, years for hurty words/jokes.

Quote:

Right to a Fair Trial: Ensures the right to a fair and impartial hearing in civil and criminal matters.

See above.

Quote:

Right to Respect for Private and Family Life: Protects privacy and family life, home, and correspondence.

In Scotland you can get arrested for things you say in your own home and the SNP`s attempted compulsory "named person" bill would have destroyed family privacy.

Quote:

Freedom of Thought, Conscience, and Religion: Guarantees the right to hold any religious or philosophical beliefs and to practice or change one`s religion.

People have been arrested for praying in the "wrong" place and now we have de-facto blasphemy laws in place for one particular religion.

Quote:

Freedom of Expression: Includes the right to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference, including freedom of the press.

Police arresting journalists/citisens for their opinions and freedom of expression? don`t make me laugh. The Communications Act directly opposes "without interference" aspect of this.

Quote:

Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and Association: Guarantees the right to peaceful assembly and association with others.

We don`t, although hate marches supporting proscribed terrorists groups are fine if it fits the government`s agenda.

Quote:

Freedom from Discrimination: Guarantees the right to equal treatment under the law and prohibits discrimination based on various grounds.

Once again just nonsense...the sentencing council`s new guidelines explicitly go against this.

There is virtually nothing left for any party to take away.
