So UK sabotages another project in Scotland. Conveniently making the announcement just as the Scottish parliament breaks up for the election. 18 months UK gov have been dithering on this….then boom cancelled. So much for respecting Scot Gov and promising to be transparent and foster a good working relationship. Aye right.

1500 jobs were going to be created..

Better together eh ?

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

The decision may be right but the time taken to decide feels excessive and the timing convenient. Having engaged with a.fair few senior civil servants from London it may well be coincidence though as very few remember Scotland exists or has devolved powers. I wish I was joking.

The decision is certainly not right. Ming Yang already operate on projects in England but there somehow a security risk in Scotland ?

It stinks….And UK Gov certainly knew when Holyrood went into recess..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Strange that China can build a "super embassy" and a nuclear power station in England without it being a security risk?

Only recently UK Gov were calling the SNP a security risk. They label vandals as terrorists.

I would like to hear from the Secretary of State for Scotland explaining why Ming Yang can operate in England but not Scotland.

They can’t be a security risk for one project yet not for others..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

During the blackout of the internet in Iran there was a marked decline in posts on X which were critical of the monarchy, the Union and Westminster apparently. The recently-published Rycroft Report on foreign influence and interference on UK politics suggested this was indicative of such practices being prevalent in normal circumstances. Should we infer that anybody supporting independence is considered to be an enemy of the state ?

X is just filled with nonsense. I saw a post this week showing black people "stealing" water from a marathon. Turned out it was AFTER the marathon and people were told to help themselves.

25% reduction I hear.... I wonder what the reduction would be if Russia and China lost connection.

There surely can`t be many people in Scotland (who haven`t been brain washed) that are in favour of the monarchy, the union, and Westminster. Sounds like we have taken our foot of the gas if we are letting Iranian bots take the strain, we will need to raise our game

When it comes to the monarchy in particular we could do worse than following the example set by the French and the Russians (got to be sure to get rid of all future generations too, so the thieving scum don`t return).
