The thing you can guarantee is, the greater the nuclear rhetoric or the more frequent the sabotage and espionage, the worse the situation is for the Kremlin.
100% an attempt to distract attention from Zelensky attending the G7 and to appear strong to the population at home on the part of Putin.
Unless they get pushback, they will continue to probe...

Twas not a yacht, but a disguised sea baby drone carrying a 6 month cocaine supply to Odessa to keep the Bandera Nazis of Zelensky`s Kyiv regime, which the brave Ruzzians intercepted to save Europe from Woke NATO and the fake Verified facts news media! π

I see Putin uses the word "war" for the first time to describe the conflict in Ukraine, which is now longer than the first world war.
There are rolling blackouts and fuel shortages in Crimea, and Russian casualties are at 30,000 per month.
βThe Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.β

Interesting perspective I heard on it recently:
Trump cutting support to Ukraine to try and favour Putin forced Ukraine to focus on supplying themselves and developing their own supply lines and technology and this has had the opposite effect of what he desired - the Ukrainians are now hitting deeper and more accurately into Russia than ever before.
Putin really started this whole thing to distract Russians from the Navalny-led corruption protests and keep himself in power.
You have a country pretending to be a superpower when they have an economy the size of Texas. Compare the levels of growth they`ve had with Poland and, despite all of the natural resources they have, it really is pitiful - just so much money disappearing.
The Soviet Union collapsed financially because of Chernobyl and I think this war will be the cause of the collapse of Putin`s Russia.

US intelligence agency`s issue warnings to Poland that Russia is preparing to test the NATO alliance by creating some sort of incident on the border. Meanwhile Russia has closed all cross border rail links between the Baltics,Finland and Russia.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

The thing to do in that case is get it out across all media channels. Back in 2022, a lot of the intelligence was showing that Putin was going to attempt a "false flag" and use this as an excuse to go into Ukraine but the media coverage it got put an end to that plan.
Back in 2015, Russia kept violating Turkish airspace and were warned to cut it out but paid no attention. The Turks shot down the planes on the next breach with their F16s...low and behold it didn`t happen again.
If it does happen, the Poles should respond as the Turks did.
The other option of course is that it could be a deception operation to distract NATO nations from aiding Ukraine.
