Hello, I can access and log in to the website directly but when I enter my details into the App on the iPhone 8 on the latest iOS, it comes up invalid.

The interesting thing is that I shut the App down and restart and it opens up into the app but when I wish to enter data it requests for me to log in but I have access to all the pages. It shows the log in tab at the bottom of I wish to enter a comment.

I can still use the website.

Hmmm. I have to ask the obvious question... are you really, really sure you aren't typing in your password (or username!) incorrectly? Case matters, certainly for the password and possibly also for the username also. Even if you aren't logged in, you can view the forum (just like access via the web browser).

But I'm confused by the bit where you say "It shows the log in tab at the bottom if I wish to enter a comment"... that sounds like the web browser version, not the app...

Definitely using the App

I can access the web using the same password that the App will not accept. This is how I can type this message or I would not be able to input any text.

How can I view the App at all and the pages but when I click reply it will still show

Open web site
Increase text size
Decrease text size
LOG IN.

I try to log in and the user name passwords are not accepted.

Which version of iOS are you running? I'll see if I can reproduce the issue on the simulator.

Hmmmm. There's something in this. I can't log in with the simulator running iPhone X with iOS 11. Very odd. The forum is saying the login is failing. I'll try to spend more time on this tomorrow night, but it is an odd one.

parsmad68 - has this worked previously, and if so, when did you notice it failing?

Hello Milos, previously everything I did was from the App. It was only yesterday when I tried to enter a comment that there was a login error (first time). So I logged out and try to log back in with no success. Changed my passwords and tried to log back in on the App without success. I then tried the website successfully. So I think the issue only started this week. I will try to get the images to log the case better when I can use my home PC and not my phone.

parsmad68 - oddly my iPhone simulator is now logging in fine (whereas it was failing to log in last night). Can you confirm whether you are still having a problem tonight on your iPhone?

Yeah same here - says there is a problem the username or password. Logged out and back in on the browser to make sure password is correct and no problems there it’s only the app

Note that I doubt I'll be able to look at this over the next week or so, so you'll need to be patient, I'm afraid. It is a snidey issue for sure though.

I have 2 iPhones and they both run 12.3.1.
One the phone I reported the problem with I cannot login and I have checked the username and password are operational through the web and these are ok.
On the 2nd phone I could access the APP and use it no issues until I logged out and now the 2nd phone also has the issue where I cannot log in.

Ta for the info parsmad. It may be the newest version of iOS that is having issues. I should be able to reproduce on the simulator, but doubt I'll be able to investigate for a week or so, but I'll definitely attempt to solve it.

I’m using iPhone XR and I’ve just stopped being logged in. I’ve changed the password, deleted the app, Re-instated it, and can log on via the website page. But not via the app. I’m using the right username and password. I can also log in on on my MacBook. Hoping you can suggest a fix!

I think I've found the fix - looks promising anyway - needed an update to the app. It's now a case of getting the updated version onto the app store - I'll post here once we've got round to that bit.

Note that this only affects the iPhone version.

Can anyone help me, I’ve downloaded the app and won’t let me log in, put in my correct password and even signed out on the web page and signed back in to make sure but for some reason doesn’t work on the app. Even reset my password and put in the temporary password from the email but still saying it’s wrong. Thanks

The App is in process of being updated/released.

hopefully it won't be too long, but currently working on a couple of things at moment so taking longer to get sorted.
