In the last couple of weeks, every time I shut the browser, or even just the dafc.net tab, the system forgets me. Yes, I`ve ticked the "remember me" box.
I then have to log in again - it`s not the biggest problem in the world, but it seems an unnecessary annoyance.
Do you know of this issue, and will it be resolved any time soon?

I did seem to have a problem some time ago, but not recently.
I will try and look into it.
I`m trying to decide what to do about the forum. I`m of a mind to re-write it completely (as the current software is abotu 20 years old - though it has been modified (Hacked!) quite a lot over the years.

There must be loads of modern open-source forum software out there Brian. Though clearly some of the stuff like Red/Yellow cards etc. may not be there as standard. Whatever you do, make sure it has a decent Web api (or an ability to write one) for the apps to use :)

Any progress on this, or am I the only one affected?
Most of the time it doesn`t bother me, as if I really want o comment then I`ll log in, but sometimes if it`s 50:50 whether to comment or not then I don`t bother (but maybe that`s a good thing ....)

apologies for the delay.
there is an issue with the software on the forum (it`s 20 years old).
I will be starting a revamp of the software soon and it will get round the niggles currently on the forum at the moment
