Hi,
I have an IPhone 8 and when I open the app it constantly closes itself down. Usually takes 2 or 3 attempts to actually get into any topic. Been the case for ages but it’s getting quite nippy now, unsure why?

Does it kick you out before you even see list of forums, or is it when you attempt to open a forum or thread?
I'll need to find time to try this on the simulator. It is working fine on my better half's iPhone 10, and I'll try out my iPhone 6 later on.
I'll also see if I've been getting crash reports.

Mostly when I try to click on a topic it will just kick me out. There have been times it’s done it 5-10 times and I’ve given up. No problem, thank you for your help!

I have the same issue on iPad. Issue is on every forum. In fact it did it to me when I clicked this thread having already done it when I opened the top thread of the football forum.

Okay, I think I`ve got somewhere with this. I`ve managed to reproduce the issue on a simulator running iOS 14.5 (iPhone 8). I think I`ve got the fix - it`s now working fine on the simulator - and I`ll distribute the update later this week. It will be V1.8.6, and I`ll post here once it`s out there.

Okay, back in the game. I am currently testing v1.8.7, which isn’t crashing, but does have an odd behaviour whereby the first time you open a thread the threads screen scrolls down a bit. But it’s only the first time, so not too much of a biggie. I’ll publish v1.8.7 tomorrow night unless i find other issues with it.

I`ve just submitted the update for review on the App Store - hopefully that will be rubber stamped in the next 24 hours and available for update on devices. I`m just hoping I haven`t done more harm than good, but the threads were opening fine on an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 10, both running iOS 14.7.1.

That's v1.8.7 now available on the app store. Hopefully that will solve the crashing, and not introduce any other significant issues!

Good stuff, let me know. My plan now is to re-write it properly on the iPhone. But that is likely to take many weeks, given the restricted time I have available to work on it. There are also some significant hurdles to overcome too, so we'll see.
