 Excel problem?

Entering +^ + << - <
So plus F1 plus D2 minus E2 enter.
Formula reads ok in the cell and has always worked before but for some reason, despite the formula being indicated as ok, I am only getting the correct result if i go down the sheet repeating the entries.
If i drag down the corner of the cell it should copy the formula....and it does, but im getting the data from the original cell instead of the result.

Any suggestions?

I'm not an excel expert but try:

Menu/Tools/CellContent/Autocalculate is on

It might be a starting point.

If you are in Excel 2007 or later, try:

Formulas -> Calculation options -> Automatic
