We all have a bit of Victor Meldrew in us. That's why Richard Wilson's grumpy character struck a chord with so many of us.
I had my best Victor moment in a long time this morning. A black Punto, reg. SD 56 UHN was driving west along Woodmill Road, just before the Mosque, at 8.25. The front seat passenger rolled down the window and threw out a large plastic bag, full of assorted rubbish........... For once, I was speechless. There's a limit to human intelligence, but none on crass stupidity, sadly.
Can any of you top that?

I regularly see absolute Muppets on the road. Yesterday one wasn't even in a car. He was an old fella walking in the road. I approached very slowly and he eventually spotted me. He urged me to go round him and got annoyed when I pointed to the parked cars. He grudgingly got on the pavement, giving me a dirty look as he did so. Old git.

I thought that too. But then thought it was a different day.
Thinking about it, the poor old boy might have got his days mixed up though.

I suspect the old fella was on the road because the pavements were such a state. He was not happy though.
Other driver pet-hate tonight. Idiot parking inches from my car door.

Old Gitdom comes to us all at some stage.
Some have a head start being born with a girny mug, not much hair, and a cussed cantankerous nature as evidenced by hurling stuff out of the cot/pram at anyone who looks at them.
