Heads up - long delays on approaches to both roundabouts this morning 10:30am and ongoing.
Major roadworks on Clackmannan bypass A907 for 12 weeks.
All A class roads onto Gartarry controlled by traffic lights - took me 25 mintes to travel a few hundred yards from Clack bypass to Clacks Bridge access road A977.
Vehicles heading north strung out on A977 from Clacks Bridge
If you have to travel to or via Alloa or Stirling areas - find another route (Hillfoots villages ?) - it will be BIG TIME chaos during the week, especially at rush hour.
The Alloa Road through Clackmannan to Gatrarry which some locals were trying as a short cut around the jam has been closed as it approaches that roundabout.

Any idea if the roadworks are all day VEE? Just wondering if the Clackmannan roundabout will be okay at 8.15am or if the lights are in use all day?

Not sure SG, I’ve avoided since I have no immediate need to go that way.
Those lights may have been for yesterday only - one of the extended family works over in Larbert, I’ll give her a call and get the latest sitrep and report back.
Where are you travelling from and to ?
It’ll be busy at 8:15am methinks.
If anybody else has been around there an update report would be appreciated.

Dunfermline to alloa VEE. Got a text from a mate to say traffic is being diverted through kennet and Clackmannan so delay shouldn’t be too bad.

That makes sense.
The Clackmannan-Kennet Road was closed to East bound traffic at Gartarry on Saturday morning, presumably to stop locals pulling a fast one to circumvent the delays.

It’s a one way system so traffic shouldn’t be delayed too much. Alloa to gartarry is via the bypass, coming the other way is through Kennet and Clackmannan.
