 Solicitor : Buying Land Advice Please

I have applied to buy some council land next to my property for GP garden ( not building on) and I have been told I can buy it. The problem is I need to hire a solicitor to complete the deal. I need a solicitor who will not charge a fortune or the purchase will not be worth while. Does anybody know a solicitor who can do this for me without charging £100's of pounds.

I have done all the "groundwork" negotiating a price etc.

Yes.£400 + VAT +£60 "registry" so £540
