A little shout out for Worst...
Topic Originator: Rastapari

I hope this doesn't embarrass him but I felt it is worth a mention.
He gets a hard time on here from some, me included at times
But let me tell you he remembered something about me, a little detail easily lost in the fog..and enquired as to how I was..I am truly fine..but understanding where it came from I am genuinely touched.
When it comes to mental health sometimes the little things can mean the world and someone looking out for you in this manner is immense.
Thank you Stevie/Worst, you have really melted my heart today, thank you for being a friend✌

Wrong is the...wrong word.
You cared enough to risk being wrong, that says a lot.

I have a soft spot for Stevie too.

It's a peat bog in Ireland. 😉

The boy's all right but spends too much time on here - a charge that could be levelled at many other dotnetters.

I wish he would change his username back to Stevie. Self deprecation is a healthy trait to have but there are limits.

Now now GG....Let me reiterate...what he noticed and asked me if I was alright meant the world.

I wouldn’t go that far old chap.

FWIW it is quite encouraging to see a bit concern and empathy with others’ position in amongst the volatile froth of p@sh that is .net.

This.

That's the best thing about dotnet. It can get a bit personal sometimes, which actually gives it a bit colour, so long as it doesn't drag on too much, but when it matters there are plenty who care and are willing to help.
The positives far outweigh the negatives.

Nice one to the poster for seeing something which wasn't there but could have been. Massive respect.

This.
If he had been right...something would have been far wrong with me. He took the risk of being wrong to see if I was alright, I have massive respect for that to. It's also reassuring that someone paid attention enough to notice what would have usually flown under the radar.
Dot Net at it's best imo...really humbling.

I wasn't berating Stevie, Rasta. As a Scot yourself, you should know that when we describe someone or something as "all right", it's high praise indeed. Kelty Par says it's down to your strict, Calvanistic upbringing, which makes Scots reluctant to go overboard when giving out praise. Dunno if you go along with that?

Anyhow, I know you've had issues and I'm pleased to hear you're in a better place...😚
