Love a cooked breakfast.
Used to love the different flavours from Asda and Tesco ranges. Sweet chilli, pork and Apple etc, but the skin was aye too thick and tough.
I've been on the Slimming world diet for a wee while though so I've been trying more suitable fare. Most low fat sausages are utterly bogging but I just found Heck chicken sausages. Not perfect but defo edible and very low fat. Tried the veggie ones too. Again not great but ok if used as a veg.
The skins on Heck sausages are almost invisible and barely noticeable when you eat them.
Other sausage makers should use the same skin.
Lost 2 stone btw. Good diet.

Congratulations on the diet.
We previously used chicken sausages (not Heck) for our dog's food; boiled them with some rice and carrots. He loved them.
Unfortunately, it put me off them altogether, even now many years later.

Scottish Slimmers links (pork or steak) also meet the taste appreciation whilst maintaining a reasonable syn value. Available in Asda as above. Mrs has made toad in the hole etc and regularly make a "fry up" wrap for lunch using couple of sausages, bacon and hash brown.
and on opposite scale my mate stopped at blue lagoon (?) chippy near central station last night on way to the game and they do battered square sausage supper
