Seems to have received good reviews...
After the first 3 or 4 of series of the restart it felt like it had run its course so hopefully this injects a bit of like into it

Quite enjoyed the episode. Like Jodie as the Doctor so far but I'll need time to adjust to that bloody accent haha.

Agreed. Seasons are related to weather or sport. NOT tv programmes.

I had no problems with a female doctor but that's thanks to not making a deal about it in the episode.
Story was very tame though and I'm not a fan of Chris Chibnall as a writer.
He just doesn't get it when it comes to writing Doctor Who.
It wasn't a bad start though and enough to keep me interested so far.

Wasn't too bad and at least she is a pretty good actress.I did wonder if I could watch it with a woman doctor but she was ok.We'll see how it goes though.

Surprising how many adults watch a children's show.
I haven't paid any attention since the days of black and white telly when the "Dr.Who" sets were made by "Blue Peter" presenters with toilet rolls and washing up liquid bottles !!!
No, I tell a porky - used to watch when that Louise Jameson was running around, that was in colour.

I look upon it as more a family show. Some of the episodes are quite dark and certainly not written only with children in mind.

The first Weeping Angels episode was certainly not a kids orientated episode.
