Off to see Eagles against Jaguars at Wembley, going down Saturday morning and the games on the Sunday so have a day to do something, got a show organised for night but during the day we're at a loss.

We don't fancy all the general touristy stuff, and whilst an all day drinking session sounds great, could do that here!

Anyone got any suggestions? Any sports on, other activity type things?

Chelsea v Man Utd
West Ham v Spurs both on

Brentford are at home that's a cool wee ground for football.

Ascot has a race day on if you're into horse racing.

My specialist subject is drinking so I'm a bit scunnered for ideas. They normally have a bit around Regent Street and Oxford street for the NFL with a street party type thing but you can get through that in an hour tops.

Any pointers as to what sort of stuff you like doing?

If you're into the your house and techno then the Hydra has an all day event on at the Printworks but that might not be everyone's cup of tea to be honest. Also apparently got flooded yesterday because some numpty started doing pull ups on a water pipe and burst it.

Those events are the week before I go down, it's the weekend of 27th/28th October.

Those kind of events are what we're looking at though.

We're getting the red eye flight on Saturday and would be good to know best places for a decent brekkie, then something to fill the day (previously we've just wandered about!), then equally a decent bar(s) for the evening.

Not into the whole museum stuff, something either activity wise we can do, or some sort of sports event would be braw.

We're off to see that Meatloaf musical Sat night.

Sorry buddy didn't check the dates!

Horse Racing wise there's still a good days racing at Newbury which is 55 mins from Paddington which in turn is about 20 mins from the Dominion where your show is.

Football wise looks like Fulham v Bournemouth is on which should be easy to get a ticket for. Fulham is another good ground for football.

Millwall are at home to Ipswich and is easy to get to from the canter. Only been to Australia v Ecuador there so don't know what a league match is like.

Drumcode is on at the Tobacco Docks if you're a techno fan and it's another all day thing 😂

Unfortunately looks a bit too early for any of the rugby, cricket, ice hockey and the basketball is away.

If you’re up for splashing out, The Wolseley on Piccadilly serves up a fantastic breakfast or brunch.
