Any recommendations for a new combi boiler installer old one has been fixed but could be on it's way out.
Looking at just boiler not radiators etc any idea what a fair price would be ?

Depends if all existing pipework is ok to reuse. Also depends on boiler spec. Mum just paid 2k for boiler replacement and hive controller. British gas sales tried to sign her up for a deal at 4.5k. Robbing b4st4rds.

Put it this way. A good quality boiler to you or I will cost 800-1100. Obviously, less to a tradesman. Just bare this in mind when they talk2-2.5k. That means more than a grand for a days work

Crombie is the man, installed a Worcester boiler last year, decommissioning a Vokera. Thank goodness!

As I commented a few weeks ago, I received superb first class service from Robert at Forth Gas, a young gas engineer who has his own small business and did a great and economical couple of jobs for me in Rosyth.
