26th of October dunfy press
There was controversy when Allanwater Developments Ltd were given permission to demolish the Grade C-listed former school buildings in December 2017 by members of the west planning committee, contrary to officers’ recommendations.
The flattened site was to make way for 28 homes.
However, the decision needed the stamp of approval of Scottish ministers as Historic Environment Scotland opposed the planning application.

Almost identical story to that of the old distillery in Inverkeithing which also caught fire mysteriously and is now The Maltings.

I had to go for diesel at about half 10 last night and noticed it. Drove down to see, it was pretty horrific. I hope no one roundabout was affected too badly.
And why were you buying diesel, sir?

Probably. I can't claim to know the ins and outs it just seemed far more flammable than any other bowling alley though!

Ye could be right... But unless you are a qualified fire investigator you're just assuming aren't you ... Best to leave it to the experts.

The first time the roller bowl went on fire it was an insurance job. There were various parts burned but they weren’t linked. Meaning they were separate fires. The second time it went up it was just a couple of very stupid kids. Very very stupid...
