 Edinburgh airport taxis

Does anyone know who is the cheapest and most reliable taxi transfer from Dunfermline to Edinburgh.

Will be an early 4.30am pick up. My wee sis has had a quote for £40 which I thought was a bit excessive so was hoping the .net massive could help find something cheaper please.

Thanks folks I did suggest the park and ride but I think they are just after a hassle free trip.

Apologies to the taxi driver who phoned my sis to confirm they still wanted the taxi. I'm used to uber pricing now and didn't realise 40 quid was the going rate!
