Sky go app asks for download upgrade. Select option says downloading update then crashes every time. Any advise on how to sort this?

Mine is working on Android phone and ps4.
Are you having problems on a phone, laptop, ps4.....?

It's to do with Silverlight. If you Google it you'll find various ways to remove it.

Is silverlight still causing problems these days? I went through aw that nonsense a few years back. Nobody had a good word to say about silverlight back then.

Is anyone able to watch sky go on a pc? I could never get it working and all the sites I went on seemed to have users who couldn't get it working either.

Only works on a Windows 7 with the sky go app now. Used to work perfectly on IE or Chrome on my old XP laptop but it's terrible on the app.

I wish I was more techy minded and knew what you meant...
Laptop is running Windows 10....phone (android) I've no idea.

Sky Go should be fine on a Windows 10 laptop but only if you download the app. It doesn't work on an internet browser anymore.

Come to think of it... When I did try to get it to work the laptop was on Windows 8.1.
Its now on win 10... So you think it should work now?

My laptop has windows 10 and was running the app fine until the the latest update.
Like mentioned above it won't work in a browser however if you download the app from the sky website you should be able to run it.
