Didn't see the latest episode but thought the first episode was decent. It's not as funny as previous Partridge series (especially the Mid Morning Matters series) but in my opinion it's far from being dreadful.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Can’t say I’ve ever laughed at AP, but he obviously appeals to some folk.
What I saw recently was dire, amateurish guff.

You guys clearly aren't getting it. I thought it was brilliant.

I do get 'it' and genuinely think it was funny the first few times I saw it. But when keep repeating the same stuff then the laws of diminishing returns kicks in!

I've never liked anything Coogan has done with the possible exception of The Trip when he played an exaggerated version of himself. This series though looks particularly bad.

Maybe just me, but I think it is very good.
Not quite on the same level as the previous series he did but it still has that subtle humour which you either get or you don't.

So on the basis of this comment I went onto iPlayer and watched it. That's another 10mins of my life gone. Dreadful.

Nothing is going to come close to the two series of I'm Alan Partridge from late 90's / early 00's (Movie was decent, Mid Morning Matters was a mixed bag) but if you can accept that then i think it's been half decent, definitely picked up after a poor first couple episodes.
