 188bet Closing to UK Players

I think theres a few folk that like a punt that dont really use the gambling forum so I've put this here rather than in there.

Had an email this morning from 188Bet stating they were closing access to UK players as of today and if you have a balance with them that you have until August to withdraw the funds or they'll donate your balance to charity.

Funds are ring fenced so you shouldn't lose them but if anyone has an account there you probably want to empty it asap.

As I've been reading up on this I just found BetBright stopped accepting bets on the 5th March and is only allowing 30 days to remove your funds before you lose them so if anyone has a BetBright account, you dont have long to take the cash out of there either.

I heard about Betbright during Cheltenham as Rich Ricci had something to do with them.Last I heard they weren't honouring antepost bets.Loads of punters were raging that they had bet on the football league outrights at the start of the season and all they were offered was their stake back when some stood to win thousands.Poor show.

Yeah it looks like they sold up to 888 who only wanted their platform technology apparently and then BetBright just decided that they wouldn't honour the ante-post bets.

A lot of unhappy people.
