His putting was brutal against Woods in the WGC Match Play 2 weeks ago so not sure why he is such a clear favourite with the bookies.
That said I have money on him, Rose, Rahm, Fleetwood and DJ

Mcilroy is deservedly favourite. Playing very well and the stats back that up. Course form is none too shabby. Only problem is that 7/1 is skinny for a major.

Backed Spieth after he went one over and drifted to 48.00.
Backed McIlroy at 2 over at 19.00
Kuchar at 48.00
Day at 55.00
Hoping all of them come down in price then looking to underlay them back on the exchange.

Day is clearly injured but into shorter odds now. I got Tiger at 40s last year although only 5 places.Other bets on Fleetwood,Rahm and Fowler. Also took Matsuyama to miss cut 9/2 and Oosthuizen to miss cut at 7/2 although he's off to a decent start. As a complete outsider had a wee bit on Hovland at 1000/1. Had Hoffman and Dechambeau both e/w at 33/s to be 1st round leader-Dechambeau might get a place for me.

Yeah I saw that yesterday! Hard lines mate.
I haven't been able to watch any of the action today but I backed Day for a tenner at 55 and I can lay him at 25s. Id be grateful if anyone has been watching: is it worth hanging on or should I remove my liability? He looked injured yesterday?

No doubt about it now. He's the GOAT golfer. One of the arguments in support of Nickaluas having that title was because he won the Masters aged 46. Well Tiger is only three years off that and you wouldn't bet against him continuing to win multiple majors well into his late forties.

What a magnificent last day. So many players had a chance but really pleased to see Tiger win. A great example of dedication and determination to succeed against the odds. I certainly didn’t think he could ever win a major again two or three years ago. I certainly changed my mind after Carnoustie but thought the Open would give him his best chance.
Will go close again. Koepka is nailed on for either the US open or pga
Contended without really playing well today.
