Correct decision imo. There needs to be a solution to allow these athletes to compete but a developed adult male and female are far more different than just some hormones as many would have you believe. Its very likely her pelvic and musculature are vastly different from most other females. It does suck for her though

But she is not a woman? She has been given a sporting advantage by nature, much like any top sportsperson. It's hard on woman, but it was hard for golfers 15 years ago when Tiger Woods was unstoppable.

I'm not convinced by this - seems like a rule designed to penalise her and her alone.

Michael Phelps produces half as much lactic acid as his competitors meaning he fatigues for more slowly. He also has an unusually long torso and arms. No-one seemed to think the rules needed to change to accommodate his natural genetic advantages.

It's about increases in testosterone.I don't believe Michael Phelps had any significant advantage in that area. You are correct that his natural advantages make it difficult for his competition.

Not quite - a questionable study with a small sample size determined that the causality of Semenyas performance was her naturally occurring testosterone level and therefore determined she should take medication to reduce it.
