Line of Duty - implausible ?
Topic Originator: veteraneastender

Not long back from the fleshpots of Coasta del Sol and caught up with the last two episodes.

Although the general storyline to identify Hastings as "H" was relatively straightforward, it was really hard to follow the detailed relentless interrogation.

However, IMO, the plot falls down seriously in respect of the £50,000 he had in his accommodation.

Who would leave an envelope with 50 grand in readies lying around in full view in a hotel room ?

Somebody wanting it to be found to keep another 50k?

Perhaps in time it'll become clearer but the last episode felt all over the place. A little bit of a disappointing end for me.

Agree on the Morse code, nonsense. Actually thought they were about to say Dot had blinked on a different letter!

Hastings gave the remaining 50k to Corbetts widow didn't get? Question is, where was it during the raid of bus room/office?!

I wasn’t clear on why the WPC in the AC3 investigation team attacked Bigalow (?) with the knife in the ladies toilets.

Who was she playing for ?

Started blitzing through this and on season 3 at the moment....

First two seasons were brilliant, this ones a bit strange, the letter in the envelope for Arnott...why didn't Cotton not take the whole envelope rather than leave it and take the letter out...might lead to something I've not got to yet but seems daft.

I didn't realise Martin Compston had leanings towards a certain Glasgow club until he was clocked at Hampden on Saturday.

He attended St.Columba's High in Gourock..........................say no more !!!

He played at East End Park for Celtic in a testimonial a few years back. Think he was with Morton as a kid. Also shared a flat in London with Kyle Falconer

He was a youth player at Aberdeen alongside the Youngs, later went to Morton where he made two appearances as a substitute - that was the extent of his pro career before becoming an actor.

He might have played against my son when East Fife played them in Youth Cup 95/96.

He was born 1984 LA, too young for that Youth Cup I’m thinking.

Aberdeen had the Young's and Jim Betts son in that team, found out later that they had played 6 overage players, East Fife never did anything about it.
My son will be 41 this year.
