 Seagulls nest

My old mother has been on the phone to me about a seagull's nest on her roof.
Can I remove a nest myself?
Or do you need to be licensed for that kind of thing?

She's not sure if there is eggs in it or not.
Only way to check would be for me to get up there for a look... Which I don't really fancy to be honest.
I don't have roof ladders and the tiles are slate so I can't just shimmy up.

You’ll soon find out of you approach the nest as they get very aggressive.
Make sure you have your escape route planned.🤔

if eggs/young may well find they dive bomb as you approach property. We has issues with them at our office and they were attacking people between the carpark and office doors

Still not sure... Went for a look last night and although I can see what looks like a nest, there was no activity or gulls near it.
Hoping they have abandoned the nest.
