 Thumping/Vibrating noise in Dunfermline/Rosyth

Can anyone shed any light as to what this is? Been going on for a couple of nights now, especially bad around 10/11pm?

I know the liner in Rosyth has been making a hell of a racket with it's horn.

Probably everyone's favourite anti-social neighbour - Exxon-Mobil.

How Mossmorran is still running despite all these emergencies is anyone's guess. The place either needs investment or shut down.

It's been shut down for the next month now. I suspect we're already seeing the beginning of its end.

This noise has been driving me nuts for weeks. Defintely coming from the dockyard way, and my Mrs can't hear it, so I'm glad it's not just me going nuts.
