There will be a Scot in the final of the women's 1500m tomorrow night and three Scots in the final of the men's 1500m on Sunday, the first time Britain has had three representatives in a final in the WAC. Let's hope at least one of them gets a medal.
Wha's like us?😊😊😊😊
I forgot about Eilish McColgan in the 5000m tonight and Callum Hawkins in the marathon.

Muir 4th; McColgan 10th in a PB and Callum Hawkins 4th in the marathon in searing heat behind 2 Ethiopians and a Kenyan; no' bad for a peely-wallie Scotsman.
It's up the 1500m guys later today now.

Shame for Hawkins to miss out on a medal by 6 seconds but good to see him running at all after the capitulation at the Commonwealths.

I just prefer folk to get their facts right instead of making stuff up. It's not difficult.
Muir was 5th. :)
The 1500 guys have done well to reach the final but will struggle to make any impact there

Fair play, parathletic, but at least I wasn't trying to prove a point or discredit someone by making stuff up.

5th, 6th and 11th in the men's 1500m. I think Zoey Clark may be running in the women's 4x400m relay though. Hope springs eternal!

Confirmed; well done Zoey Clark. The women's relay team did a bit better than the men's!

I thought Jamaica would appeal and so it proved.Denied the bronze

Hard to bear; that seems to happen a lot in Athletics - disqualify, appeal, reinstate.
