I don't drink these days but I used to frequent the East Port quite a lot... Probably too much 🤣
I just liked it cos i never got a bad pint fae there and at certain times of the day it was quite quiet (yes I'm an old fart).
No idea what it's like these days.

Very rarely in a pub nowadays. The Lizzy is my local but it is more of a restaurant now. Ive watched a few live matches there though and its fine. I would like to visit Alex Smith's pub in Fordel that looks like a guid auld fashioned people friendly local. If I'm ever in town I would go to the Auld Inn or Commercial purely out of habit.

Fancy Alex Smith's place too but would need to take the car up so would defeat the purpose! It looks a great place though.

The Coaledge is a great wee pub. The best in the toon for me is probably the Old Inn. Upstairs in Montys is great too as it plays proper music.

Someone tried to start a Drum n Bass night up the stairs in Monty's many moons ago. It was short lived unfortunately.

The Coaledge Tavern is a great shout and Alex Smith is simply the best mine host ever, but it's not exactly in the town.

Not a regular pub goer these days but I did like the Old Inn and the EPB back in the day....
