 Car paintwork needing fixed
Topic Originator: parforthecourse

Hi All,

Some lovely person in my work car park has put a foot long scrape on one of my doors. Doesn't look deep.

Who comes recommended for a paintwork repair?

Ta!

Not used them but when someone (not me!) scuffed the car against our wall I got a quote from Chips Away. It was pretty reasonable but in the end we just lived with it as it was an old car. The guy said it was easier if the scrape was on metal rather than plastic (ours was bumper and front wing).

Third recommendation for Christies. Done a cracking job for me at a very reasonable price.

Is your cat making too much noise all the time?

GPC man was nice, but the job is too big for him, as there's also a shallow dent, and have also now noticed area under the door is marked.

Chips away also didn't want to do it.

Went to Christie's, and have booked in there next week.

Thanks for the tips, all.
