Who is Mr X?

According to The Times, the businessman has “extensive establishment connections” and is “one of Britain’s wealthiest men”. He is married with adult children, has homes in London, the countryside and overseas, and according to the judge in the case, is “a public figure with a well-known family name”.

Any Ideas who the protected business man accused of rape is anyone ??

We are forever shaped by the Children we once were

There was this article reported in the Financial Times in October. Now, I am not suggesting for a moment that it is the same case but there are some parallels in the story. It's funny how if it is a normal Joe Bloggs, the name gets plastered all over the paper, but if you are rich and well connected, then they get to remain anonymous - surely we don't live in a country where the rich are treated differently to the poor?

That certainly ticks all the boxes red-star-par

Apparently he has already paid them to sign a non disclosure but they found a loop hole to make a criminal complaint

A senior judge ruled that Mr X’s “honour and reputation” should be protected

Was his anonymity not because it was a civil action ?

That won't be the case if, or rather when, criminal charges are made.

What is it with this X family?
Members of that family (Mr. X, Ms. X, etc.) are always in the news, usually trying to retain their privacy while the rest of the population don't have that luxury.
