Just watched an extremely sad, emotional and uplifting documentary following a year in the life of Doddie Weir, Scottish rugby legend, who has Motor Neurone Disease.

An absolute must watch. Available on the iPlayer.

Seeing Fernando Ricksen was shocking enough but i think with Doddie being such a physically intimidating presence given his natural height and build the level and aggressiveness of the deterioration was even more shocking and really hit home.

Horrible disease but an inspirational story and person
