 car speaker replacement

i have a bose music system in my car and the front door speaker is gone...

don't have it blaring but do like tunes in the car so want to replace. i know halfords sell car speakers (not sure if they fit or how good they are) but does anyone know anywhere you can take the car, but decent reasonably priced speakers and have them fitted?

Not much help but could try doing it yourself. Door cards come off easily. Could just replace the broken one.

Lots of breakers yards on eBay. Have bought a few bits and pieces over the years and fitted myself.

Best to check the spec of the current speakers as many enhanced car audio systems like Bose or Harman Kardon have seperate amplifiers and the speakers are different impedence to standard car audio speakers.

Given I can just about bang a nail into a wall is rather take somewhere to get it replaced properly! 😂

I'm sure there used to be a place in embra (Leith way) that specialised in car audio systems but can't seem to find it...

Probably safer if I try Halfords and see if they know what's actually fitted and what I can get as replacement

Charlie if your talking about the wee white building directly across the road from bellyoeman that has been gone for a few years now. Its turned Into Gibbs garage and is now Robertsons garage
