Finn Russell will not be considered for selection against Ireland in Dublin after a “ breach of Protocol “. Sounds like he had a few drinks too many.
He has returned to his club.
Not good news for Scotland.
There is friction between Russell and Townsend and they has a bust up at HT at Twickers last year.
Might not see him at all this year in the six nations a tournament which will surely be Townsend last as head coach.
Step up Hastings......or Horne ....at Fly Half not HC !
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Best player in the team or not if it’s true about him choosing to get rat @rsed in the hotel bar then decide not to bother showing up for training the next day he should probably never play for Scotland again

Or we could look at a number of other reasons one being he’s spat the dummy out at Hogg being named as captain and him thinking it should have been him named as captain instead but look on the bright side with the time off he has now he can practice his kicking and actually be able to find touch rather than just kicking the ball away all the time genuinely don’t think he will be missed imo
