I know this has probably been asked and done to death on here but I cant seem to find the original post. Anyway are they active and giving fines out yet?

Yes they are active but only when the gantry is showing a speed, this includes the national speed sign. They will flash out with this if you do over 81mph, but fines aren’t issued, I have set them off many times out with.

Thanks wasnt sure. I had a shot of the father in laws car at the weekend and was slightly over the 70. Was just bracing myself for a fine and my first 3 points lol

Ment to say it was the ones south bound at Halbeath aswell. Cant say I seen a flash or that either so think I should be fine

Slightly over 70 you will be fine, I pass them daily at 75 and have never been flashed.

Speed cameras tend to be set at 79 or even 80 in a 70 zone.

They're not properly functioning. I'm sure the one before the Inverkeithing turn off heading south isn't legal as it's obscured by bushes.
They do at least slow down some of the idiots who don't understand how variable speed limits work.
