Looks like it's going to be an end of the name of the one time Pars sponsors. Being turned into a Sterling Furnishings shop. Assume they've been bought out.

I believe Thomson's has been part of the Sterling group for a wee while now, along with another name which escapes me. Will just be rationalisation to save a few quid on branding relates things and probably maximise advertising too; save having several different adverts in the same papers!

Crazy expensive place, very little choice unless your dropping over £2k on a dining table and 5k on a sofa. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice stuff but can’t see the market for such a big unit etc. The natuzzi sofa we liked was available for 25% cheaper online.
Not sure how it’s survived to be honest, they don’t put prices on the website but when we were in having a look there was 3 couples who walked in and very quickly back out, and we quickly followed them.

Good to see it's no just DAFC you're on an absolute downer about 😁

Forrest Furnishing in Glasgow and Anderson England in Elgin are both part of the Sterling Group.

I think Thomson's do well out of the house building. When my pal bought his house at Meadow whatever it's called he got a couple of grands worth of Thomson's vouchers.

Thomson’s sold to Sterling at least 10 years ago they kept the name for some reason so no surprise it will be branded Sterling going forward.
