I was looking on Amazon tonight for some garden gloves and noticed the prices for 100 pairs of cheap disposable gloves are around £85 to £95 profiteering at its best :-(

I pick up a few free disposal gloves at petrol stations when I'm planning to use superglue - maybe not the kind you need ?

Just looked online on Amazon and there are disposable gloves. 1000 for £8 down to really cheap ones for £5 all with free delivery.
What you probably saw was a holding price. This is used by Amazon suppliers to keep their space on Amazon. More often used by tech firms where £100 items will suddenly appear for £2000. If you try to buy it usually comes up saying not in stock. It's actually used so that you won't try to buy. It means that the supplier keeps their position in the Amazon hierarchy for when their stock comes back in.

Groupon or Wowcher, can't remember which, had rubber gloves, hand cleanser and toilet rolls on their sites in the last 24 hours.

Alternatively, Amazon and EBay have both been making efforts to clamp down on profiteers. If you see it, tell them.
