Maybe. Could be keeping out of the way and looking for a bit of sympathy.

Boris Battles Killer Virus makes a good headline.

Best estimates are It's a killer for 0.5% of those who catch it, and so far as we can gather that is mostly those of old age or with underlying health problems, so I wouldn't write him off quite yet.

The "mild one " seems to be the choice of Royalty and politicians🤔🤔🤔

Nice to see Dominic moving faster than Usain Bolt to escape from Downing Street!😲😲😲

I'd guess that Cummings suggested he said he had the virus for good publicity as some of his delays and mistakes are interfering with his 'Greatest since Churchill' headlines. All he does is stays out the way for a week and back as the heroic prime minister after recovering.

I can't wait for BoJo's pal across the pond to get a severe dose, just so we can get him off our screens for a couple of weeks, spouting one piece of delirious nonsense after another.

Good chance he will nuke China in that scenario.

Chris witty has is too.Apparently he is looking like death warmed up...so the only difference is he is a wee bit hotter than normal.

Hope they all get well soon.

Trump would be at risk due to his age.

I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson is telling fibs.

Trump has been overdoing the sun bed, he has two circular white patches around his eyes caused by his goggles.

I thought Johnson has been looking unwell for a couple of days but I put it down to the stress he must be under. I wonder if he's wishing he hadn't run for PM last summer.

RM's default position. Salute your imperial masters!

I said second hit on this blog that I suspected it was a political manoeuvre. Same as Prince Charles. Johnson doesn't know what to do so he is in hiding. The hospitals cannot cope so who will the people blame? The government of course.

Our health system is in preparation, anyone with a chest infection can’t see there GP and can’t be sent to hospital unless it’s life threatening!
All non critical operations and appointments have been cancelled, including dental.
So no our health system isn’t over run but we have turned on emergency mode and just waiting, following the patterns observed in other areas you would have to be Trump to think we aren’t going to be hit hard.

On the radio this morning, Estimated deaths are
 Spain just under 50,000
 Italy just under 40,000
 UK just under 6,000
If that's the case well done to our folk involved in controlling this outbreak.

I think it is important to note that (if it is the same study which was referred to on radio 4) all they have done is applied the uk starting point to the China distribution. That clearly assumes a lot, including full Chinese transparency and equivalent ongoing compliance with the restrictive measures.

 It seems pretty rudimentary.

My wife who has heart failure has been trying to get one of her tablets for over a week. The pharmacy has been trying to get them for her but with no luck. We are starting to get worried. It's not as simple as getting loo paper, after all that's what the Sun and the Record are for.
