Tip is shut and I have now got a large pile of scraps junk and rubble to get rid of after doing some DIY. Im worried about getting a local man and van to do it because I don't know where they would tip it. Any suggestions or recommendations?

I'd question where anyone is taking this rubbish right now. You could try renting a small skip from Russell's

See my thread on Litter, Parrot. Basically, you stick it in your motor, drive out to some minor country road and dump it. Alternatively, you can chuck individual items out of your window as you drive along.....

And if you can't wait until then, I heard a rumour that Raymie's skip accepts most things at the moment.
