Techy help

My keyboard on my Toshiba satellite laptop is playing up.
It's not typing the correct letters or numbers as I'm typing and back space button isn't working either.
Anyone got any suggestions.
Only thing I could find online was press and hold shift for 10 seconds but that didn't work.
Help me... I'm useless at this kinda stuff 🤣

Are you set to uk keyboard.Remember we use qwerty but French I believe use azerty.

Panic over... After scratching my head for an hour or so the thing told me it needed to update and restart.
All done now and all is back to normal.
Great things when they work eh ? 🤣
