Lineswoman
The World No 1 was set to change ends after a game and hit the ball backwards
Without looking he hit the woman in the throat and she collapsed to the floor

I was expecting it was a back hand smash. I'm maybe being a bit unfair as I haven't seen footage of the actual impact on her but she does seem to hamming it up.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Have you ever had a flick to the throat? It doesn't need to be very hard to disrupt your breathing.
Doesn't mean she wasnt hamming it though. It is the USA. They are taught how to make insurance claims and lawsuits from an early age I believe!

Good to watch the incident from different camera angles. First view I had was from camera roughly behind line judge. Whilst not condoning his action, my first thought was drama queen. Then I saw incident from camera above the court and I could see the ball flew off the racquet at quite a speed.
Completely unintentional but rules are clear and he is out.

Total over reaction from the linejudge but at least no preferential treatment just because it's Djokovic.
I remember Nalbandian and Shapovalov getting DQ'd in the past, albeit for a little bit worse than what happened yesterday.

I think Tiger Tim Henman was the first person to be disqualified from Wimbledon for the same thing?
