Just heard on the BBC news about a fire last night at Amazon at Sandpiper Drive. They’re reporting no injuries. Three hours it lasted and three units attended with staff evacuated.
Hope everyone working there last night is ok.

It was overcrowded early on with some areas still closed off. They offered anyone who wanted to go home voluntary leave. They werent sent home.

I`m not doing any shifts because Amazon don`t need anyone else, even though I know for a fact they`ve hired and started people after I`d signed contract and had my day zero.
Adecco are useless and they`ve totally put me into a serious depression by ruining Christmas. How are you meant to buy presents on a giro?
That`s 4 weeks they messed me around when I could have been looking for another job and that`s also between 3 and 4 grand I`ve missed out on(I was going to be doing all nightshifts) because of there ineptitude.
I hope the turkey they eat is undercooked.
