They're seemingly infiltrating the east coast with their nasally accent and knock off fashion despite there being a lockdown. Pal just told me he witnessed some getting refused service in Edinburgh. Numerous stories of groups of them being in Dunfermline. Are there more thick people in Glasgow, or are there cases if mistaken Glaswegian-ness (people from East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Hamilton etc)?

The weegie accent is still obvious in Cumbernauld area, a legacy of the incomers when the new town was established.
Not far back along the road heading East the Denny and Dunipace natives talk a much more generic central Scotland accent.
