Done this last year and it was good for folk to know areas to avoid or be careful at ... So I'll start off with a few I've noticed recently.
Aberdour Road.... A few alloy killers along there.
Crossford main street.... A few beauties so take care.
Crossford to Cairneyhill straight... Like a ploughed field in places.
North bound coming out of Rosyth (just passed the elf garage before the roundabout)... Couple of beauties that I keep hitting... Not quite chasms yet but there getting there.
Any I've not seen? Post here 👍

Get out your car with a nice bright can of paint.
Draw a male appendage incorporating each hole and see how long it takes to get repaired. Please do this safely.

Some really bad ones toward the end of Linburn Road have now been sorted, looked a bit of a half-hearted effort though.
One next to a crossing island on Lapwing Drive has been fixed also.

Rosyth Crossroads roundabout directly opposite Ladbrokes - could plant a tree in it.
Road between Rosyth and inverkeithing with Belleknowes Industrial estate on left, just before turning down to train station over flow car park - I think the asteroid that took out the dinosaurs left a smaller crater.
They are all over the place, roads really are brutal the now.

I reported the one on Lapwing Drive beside the crossing point on Tuesday and they were there on Wednesday fixing it. Credit where it is due, they were quick so worth reporting them on Fife.gov.uk

Quicker listing the roads where potholes aren’t an issue.

Certain parts of the A907 from Gartarry roundabout over to Dunfermline are an absolute disgrace - and it’s an A class road.

I think the council are pretty quick to fix pot holes when they are reported.
I do think the general condition however has been deteriorating. I'm seeing roads that could do with being fully relaid as the surface is breaking down.

Coming up from St Marie's Church in Kirkcaldy under the railway bridge outside Giovannis is an absolute disaster of a road. It's been needing relaid for years. There must be about 6 potholes in a 5 square metre area which makes it impossible not to hit one. I've highlighted it but nothing gets done. Strathore Road is terrible too but probably not deemed important enough even though the main road into Thornton from Kirkcaldy floods on an almost weekly basis these days which means a diversion along to cluny

The A909 past Mossmorron.
Burst a tyre there last week. Pulled up in front of another car/AA van - Another vehicle burst a tyre on the same or simnilar pothole. Who knows, there are so many!

To be honest you could just throw in the the entirety of the A909 from Burntisland to Cowdenbeath.
There`s part you have to drive on the otherside of the road just down from Stenhouse Loch.

Vicious cycle - can't afford to fix the roads so potholes left unfixed, people put in claims so even less money to fix the roads.
It's an absolute disgrace how much money is collected in taxes for fuel and duty related to motor vehicles yet the roads are a disgrace. Yes, it's because councils are paying off debts and paying for social care but how can one of the richest countries in the world have such awful roads?!

There's a stoater at the Bank of Scotland down at the bottom of the town. Just before you get to the roundabout (heading north).

Also a mahoosive hole (more of a crater really) at the top of brankholm brae heading towards Crossford.
Potholes can be reported online at www.fife.gov.uk/reportit or by calling 03451 55 00 11.

Maybe we should start doing what someone down south of the border done a couple years back by spray painting obscene pictures around them. The said person who was doing was doing it in protest of the pot holes forcing the council to fix them as they didn't want a penis painted on there roads at every pot hole 🤣🤣
